Dear All,

Mrs. June Ibbotson has asked that we publicise the very worthwhile, Poppies for Peace project, which we are of course, delighted to do.

June says, ” In the days prior to November 11th there will be a display of knitted poppies outside St. Mary’s Church, Cuckney, an exhibition in the church, of World War 1 artefacts, local School childrens work in the church.

In the porch, the History Group have recorded the service of those from the wider community who died as a result of the conflict.

The exhibition will be open Nov. 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th  – 11am – 3pm

In the church on Friday Nov. 9th at 7:15pm there will be a

CONCERT

Of Music, Poetry, a Children’s choir & a “sing a long”.

On Sunday Nov. 11th at 10:45am there will be a

REMEMBRANCE SERVICE at St. Mary’s Church.

All donations received this week are for the Royal British Legion & Help for Heroes.

We do hope you will support this Community Project & come & join us.”
