Dear Field Walkers and Metal Detectorists,
Firstly, thanks for your continuing support and the excellent CMDC Christmas Party at the West End Hotel, Killamarsh on Monday.
We will continue Field walking and Metal Detecting this Sunday, 11th December.
It looks like it might be -1 up to about 11am and thereafter hits a max. of +1, so please wrap up warmly.
NOTE: Sat. 10th will NOT be one of our operational days.
Sunday 11th December has been confirmed with the Village Hall committee, hence we have the use of the Village Hall.
We will be continuing in Field 3 this Sunday.
Each operational day you can meet me at the Village Hall (opens at about 8:30am) and go down together about 9:15am.
OR
You can go directly to site – park in the designated area (please park on the hard standing area ONLY – NOT on the grass.
Please don’t start detecting or Field walking until I or another member of BOHIS arrives.
Who Can Take Part ?
As per the previous correspondences, only those who have attended previous meetings are eligible.
Please Remember (for Metal Detectorists Only) – You Must Provide Evidence of your Public Liability Insurance to myself before being allowed to take part in detecting.
We also have Flags, Canes for marking each detectorists current area and Finds bags – plus Sticky Notes (for those not Marking the bags) and permanent markers.
You will need to mark each of your Finds bags with your (unique) initials, Date and GPS location – at the point of each discovery.
Regards and Thanks very much for your help,
Paul Jameson
Looking forward to field walking this weekend.
