Dear Field Walkers and Metal Detectorists,
We will continue Field walking and Metal Detecting this Wednesday 10th January 2024.
We will continue detecting in our last new area – Field 6.
It’s a chance to make a fresh start in the New Year and we’ve probably only got until c. 10th March 2024 to complete our search of the 6 fields.
Also, we’ve only detected in Fields 5 and 6 for 1 day each to date, so there’s plenty more ground to cover.
We realise that not all people will be able to commit to a midweek date due to work and other commitments.
The weather forecast for Wednesday is currently acceptable (Some chance of rain and drizzle but largely sunshine after 11am, with a high of 5 degrees).
Toilet facilities will be available.
Please go directly to site – park in the designated area (please park on the hard standing area ONLY – NOT on the grass.
We will start detecting at 9:30am as usual.
Please don’t start detecting or Field walking until I or another member of BOHIS arrives.
