Dear Field Walkers and Metal Detectorists,
We will continue Field walking and Metal Detecting this Sunday 5th March.
Please also remember that is is our AGM tonight (3rd March) – 7:30pm, Cuckney Village Hall.
The weather forecast for Sunday is currently poor (Partly Cloudy, some drizzle, from 3 degrees at about 9:30am leading to 7 degrees max. – but will feel colder).
We will NOT have the use of the Village Hall this week but toilet facilities will still be available.
We will be doing one third of (new) Field 5 only, which has been partially cleared of straw. We have until the end of April 2023 to complete this third of a field.
Please go directly to site – park in the designated area (please park on the hard standing area ONLY – NOT on the grass.
Please do NOT drive past the car park and up the very muddy track (to get closer to the fields) – we have been asked not to do this by the farmer (Mr. Philip Willison).
We will start detecting at 9:30am as usual.
Please don’t start detecting or Field walking until I or another member of BOHIS arrives.
Regards and Thanks again for all your help,
Paul Jameson
