Fieldwork Meeting – 12th February

Dear Supporters,

We Require Fieldwalkers for events commencing in Cuckney on the 19th February.

We are looking for volunteers to perform Fieldwalking – searching the fields for artefacts, supervised by MERCIAN archaeologists. The events will involve Field walking & Detecting.

There will be a “Kick Off” meeting at Cuckney Village Hall on Weds 12^th February 2020 @ 7:30pm.

Free Admission & Refreshments.

In order for us to plan properly and enable you to take part, it is important that you REGISTER YOUR INTEREST AND DAILY AVAILABILITY via either attending the meeting on the 12th OR by emailing paul.jameson03@btinternet.com

 

EVENT SUMMARY

Self Funded Event 1/ – 4 fields in Cuckney area

Weds 19th – Sat. 22nd Feb. – 4 working days

Weds 26th – Fri. 28th Feb. for the last 3 working days

 

Self Funded Event 2/ – Single field in Cuckney area

Weds. 11th to Fri. 13th March for 3 working days

We Need Your Financial Support too please !

These events are entirely funded by our Society (BOHIS) and we require extra funding for Events 1 & 2 and another 2 events that will take place before 31/8/2020, (which will be outlined at the meeting).
