As you know, our article (some compelling history plus an update on the Battle of Hatfield progress and future plans) is due to appear in the next edition of ‘Battlefield’ magazine, which is likely to be published in early November 2024.
It will probably go to print around mid October.
It’s a large, comprehensive piece about 4,200 words (plus about 12 pictures) – hence it will probably stretch to 8 or 10 pages !
Because the magazine’s physical & web outlets are limited, I have arranged with one of the editors (Chris May) to find out how many BOHIS supporters would like to purchase a copy for £5 and he will supply accordingly. There will be no postage costs.
Therefore can you please let me know by close of Monday 7th October how many copies you would like to purchase.
I will then arrange a magazine collection & pay (probably from the Greendale Oak (public house), Cuckney – around mid November.

Unfortunately I will be away between 16th and 20th October but would have liked to attend the 20th BOHIS meeting on Friday the 18th.
